The Elite Traveller Gen 3, with everything added
The Platinum is Pride's top version of the Go Go® Elite Traveller Gen 3. It's the same take-apart 4-wheel travel scooter, with EZ Turn steering and a roomy sloped deck, plus the touches that make it easier to live with every day.
What the Platinum adds
- Charge360 magnetic charging port. The cable snaps on and lights up so you know it's charging.
- Faster 3.5 amp charger (the standard Gen 3 has a 2 amp charger).
- Foot-pedal tiller adjustment, so you can move the tiller without bending down.
- Larger front basket.
- Color accents on the front shroud and wheels.
- Built in the USA from foreign and domestic parts.
What matters day to day
- Comes apart for the car into five pieces. The heaviest piece is 36.2 lbs.
- EZ Turn technology. A 39.2" turning radius with the steadiness of four wheels.
- Roomier sloped deck with more legroom.
- Front and rear pathway lights.
- Flat-free, non-scuffing tires.
Choosing your battery
The 12Ah battery is standard and gives up to 8.9 miles at 220 lbs. The 18Ah upgrade (+$175) stretches that to 14.1 miles at 220 lbs, but the pack weighs 27.4 lbs. against 20 lbs., and it's one of the pieces you lift into the car.
Is this the right scooter?
This is a travel scooter for smooth, firm ground: sidewalks, stores, parking lots and boardwalks. It sits low (1.29" at the motor), so it isn't meant for grass, gravel or steep unpaved ground. If the extras above don't matter to you, the standard Elite Traveller Gen 3 does the same job for less.
