The Jazzy® Carbon 27 was made for people who don't want their day planned around where their wheelchair can go. It weighs about 32 pounds with the battery in, folds down in a few seconds, and lifts into a car trunk without a ramp, a hoist, or a second person.
The frame is carbon fiber — the same material used in racing bicycles. That is what keeps the weight down without giving up strength. It carries up to 300 pounds and travels up to 9.3 miles on a charge.

Is this the right chair?
The Carbon 27 suits someone who walks short distances but tires out, and who travels — visiting family, cruises, appointments, shopping. If the chair will mostly stay in one home and never go in a car, a full-size power chair will give you a more supportive seat and a longer range for the money.
If you need more than 300 pounds of capacity, look at the Jazzy Carbon HD, which carries 400 pounds and still folds.
