Folds upright and stands in a closet
Most folding power chairs fold flat and lie down. The Jazzy® Carbon 27X folds vertically — the X-frame collapses so the chair stands on end, just 12 inches wide. It goes in the corner of a trunk, in a hall closet, beside a cruise cabin bed.
It weighs 27.5 pounds without the battery, and the battery adds 3.5. The carbon fiber frame keeps it light without making it fragile.

Is this the right chair?
Choose the 27X for the vertical fold and nothing else. If storage space isn't your problem, the Jazzy Carbon 27 costs $200 more and gives you a larger battery, more range, a higher weight capacity and a choice of colors.
