Most power chairs rated for 400 pounds don't fold at all. They're built to stay in one place, and they decide where you can go. The Jazzy® Carbon HD carries the same 400 pounds, gives you a full 20" by 20" seat, and still folds down to about 13 inches high for the trunk.
It weighs 39.7 pounds with the battery in. The frame is carbon fiber — the same material used in racing bicycles — which is how it stays that light at that capacity. Range is up to 12.4 miles on a charge, the longest of the Carbon family.

One thing to know before you fly
The standard 20Ah battery is not airline compliant. If you plan to fly with this chair, you'll need Pride's 12Ah airline-compliant battery, which we can order for you — call us and we'll price it and explain the trade-off in range.
If flying is the main reason you want a folding chair, the Jazzy Carbon 27 ships with an airline-compliant battery as standard. It carries 300 pounds instead of 400.
